About Saltidin®

Saltidin® has been used successfully as an ingredient in insect repellents for decades. Products containing the active ingredient Saltidin® offer up to 14 hours' protection against mosquitoes and tick bites and the illness they can cause.

Detailed studies show that the proper use of insect repellents containing Saltidin® represents no risk to the user or to the environment.

Insect repellents containing the active ingredient Saltidin® are marketed in many countries. They are sold in the form of pump sprays, aerosols, gels, creams, sprays, lotions, wet wipes and wax sticks in supermarkets, drugstores and pharmacies. You can recognize these particular insect repellents by reference to the active ingredient name "Saltidin®", "Icaridin" or "Picaridin" on the manufacturers' label.

The active ingredient Saltidin® is being sold for the production of insect repellents to industrial customers only. Saltigo does not sell insect repellents.
